TELEPSYCHIATRY AND MENTAL HEALTH CARE WITH JACOB VIAL, PA-C
Compassionate Care to Help You Feel Like Yourself Again
I know how hard it can feel when life isn’t going the way you hoped. Maybe you’ve tried pushing through on your own, but the worry, sadness, or stress just won’t lift.
You don’t have to carry it all by yourself anymore.
As your provider, my role is to listen closely, understand your story, and work alongside you to create a plan that feels manageable and realistic. I believe the best care comes from teamwork—where your goals and values guide our next steps, and my job is to help you see a path forward.
My Approach
I like to keep things simple: we’ll always come back to the three pillars of healing—self-care, therapy, and medication. Sometimes small lifestyle changes make a big difference; other times, it takes the right combination of supports working together. Either way, you and I will decide together what makes the most sense for you.
Patients often describe me as easy to talk to, thorough, and interactive. You’ll notice I ask questions like, “Tell me more about what you meant when you said…” or “Notice how you felt when…”. That’s because I want to understand—not just your symptoms, but also what matters most to you.
When we meet, you’ll get 100% of my focus and energy, and I’ll ask for the same from you. If you’re ready to make changes, I’ll be right there encouraging you, checking in, and keeping you accountable as we move toward your goals.

The best part…
this is care that fits your life.
No more rearranging your schedule or sitting in a waiting room. No more feeling like a number or wondering if your provider even remembered your name. No more playing phone tag when you just need a simple answer.
With self-scheduling, online visits, direct provider access, and a wholeheartedly invested partner, you’ll finally experience psychiatry that feels good and fits your life.
And we've worked to make the financial side just as simple. We're in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans, St. Luke's Health Plan, and United Healthcare — and self-pay options are available for those who prefer them. You can learn more on our COST OF CARE page.

Bipolar II can bring intense highs and lows that impact relationships, work, and well-being. We focus on creating a thoughtful, individualized plan to help you stabilize your mood and move forward with confidence.
If you’re motivated to make changes and ready to put in the work, we’ll make a strong team
Education & Experience
-
I always knew I wanted a career where I could make a real difference in people's lives. Working at the Brigham Young University Student Health Center, where I provide behavioral health care alongside my work at White Pine, has deepened my passion for helping people navigate some of their most difficult seasons and come out stronger on the other side.
My approach is grounded in lifestyle psychiatry, which means I look at the whole person — not just symptoms. Sleep, movement, nutrition, relationships, and stress all play a role in mental wellness, and I believe that addressing those alongside medication when appropriate leads to the most lasting results.

A Little About Me
Outside of work, life is busy and fun with my wife — who is way out of my league —and our two amazing kids.
When I get a chance to relax, I love to golf, watch whatever sport is in season, and spend time outdoors.
Fun fact: I grew up in a town of fewer than 400 people, and I can juggle!
