Psychiatric care that starts with listening
Maybe you’ve been feeling off for a while. Maybe you’ve tried treatment before and it didn’t feel like the right fit. Or maybe you know something needs to change, but you’re not quite sure what.
That’s where we start: by listening.
Our approach to online psychiatry in Alabama brings together what you know about yourself and what we know about psychiatry. We’ll talk through your symptoms, history, circumstances, and goals, then work together to figure out what makes sense from there.
We don’t believe there’s one right answer for everyone. Your care should reflect you.
Mental health concerns rarely exist in isolation. What you're experiencing may affect your work, relationships, energy, sleep, or the way you move through everyday life.
We work with adults navigating concerns including:
What you may be navigating
-
Anxiety can show up in ways that aren't always easy to explain. We can help you understand what's happening and explore treatment options that fit your needs.
-
Depression isn't always simply feeling sad. It can affect your energy, motivation, relationships, and ability to feel like yourself. We'll take the time to understand what you're experiencing.
-
Obsessive-compulsive disorder can affect both your thoughts and your everyday life. We provide thoughtful psychiatric care for adults navigating OCD and related concerns.
-
If you're wondering whether ADHD may be part of what you've been experiencing, we'll take time to understand your history, symptoms, and how they're affecting your life rather than reducing everything to a checklist.
-
Women's mental health can change across different stages of life. We provide care for concerns including perinatal and postnatal depression and anxiety, parenting stress, and other mental health challenges.
-
Men may experience anxiety, depression, stress, or other mental health concerns in ways that can be difficult to recognize or talk about. We provide a thoughtful, judgment-free space to understand what you're experiencing and find an approach to care that fits your life.
-
Medication may be part of your treatment, or it may not be. If we discuss medication, we'll consider your symptoms, history, preferences, and goals together rather than treating a prescription as the whole answer.
OUR APPROACH
You’re the expert on you
You know what it feels like to live your life. You know what's changed, what's difficult, what you've tried, and what you're hoping will be different. We're the experts on psychiatry — the medications, the patterns, and the treatment options. Those two kinds of knowledge belong in the same conversation.
That means we won't simply agree with everything you say, and we won't make decisions without you. We'll bring our clinical expertise to what you know about yourself, talk honestly about your options, and build a plan together.
You should be able to understand why we're recommending something and feel comfortable speaking up when something isn't working.
Starting psychiatric care can feel like a big step, especially if you've been putting it off for a while. We want you to know what to expect.
What online care looks like
WHY WHITE PINE?
Care that doesn’t ask you to have it all figured out
You shouldn't have to choose between feeling heard and getting knowledgeable psychiatric care.
You deserve both.
At White Pine, we're here to partner with you, not override you. We provide online psychiatric care for adults across Alabama, Idaho, and Florida, with a focus on thoughtful treatment, honest conversations, and care that considers the whole person. When helpful, we can also collaborate with the other healthcare providers involved in your care, so your mental health treatment feels connected rather than separate.
You can come as you are. You don't need to have the right words or a perfect explanation for what's going on.
We’ll start right where you are.
The best part…
this is care that fits your life.
No more rearranging your day around a drive across town or squeezing a psychiatry visit into an already-full schedule. No more rushed appointments or endless phone tag. No more wondering if your provider really sees the person behind the symptoms.
With self-scheduling, online visits, direct provider access, and a partner who’s genuinely invested in your care, you can experience online psychiatry that feels personal, thoughtful, and built around your life in Idaho.
We’ve worked to make the financial side just as simple. White Pine is in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans, St. Luke’s Health Plan, and UnitedHealthcare, with self-pay options also available for those who prefer them. You can learn more about your options on our Cost of Care page.
The Care You Deserve Is Right Here.
